1987 Shigeru Miyamoto Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda is one of the most iconic games that Nintendo has ever released.  It is an action adventure video game, which had a mixture of, puzzles solving, role-playing and adventure. The Legend of Zelda was one of the first games to have a series that followed after the first release. Zelda was a game that required the players to think about what their next strategy would be. This also allowed players to communicate with each other and share their ideas to find the different secrets hidden in the game. This became a new way of game communication. And this laid the foundation for today’s games that communicate through gamming wherever they might be playing “battlefield” or “Portal 2”.  This way of communication really changed the way games where made and how gamming communities started. And that is why The Legend of Zelda is significance and will remain one of the corner stones of gamming development and communication
